[Laughs a little, not at the fact that Hunk CRIED. But just. He's happy to hear his friend again. Especially since this is the weepmonster friend who he couldn't help imagining being left alone as people got pulled to this place.]
I mean. Ha. What's up. I guess nothing? But everything? We're on this lame Earth-not-Earth where it's what I missed but also not at allll. And Keith has been a real wet blanket about doing anything approaching uplifting.
[ Okay, so the combination of having his crying pointed out so effortlessly, and having all the mixed-up Earth stuff pulled back up, and the sentimental greeting? That whole thing? Hunk's glad this is a more traditional phone call, because he's already wiping at his eyes with the heel of his hand again. He can keep trying to sound as cheerful as possible, at least, and it doesn't come from a non-genuine place.
